Tasmania 1879 "FREE" Frank + invitation from Governor to Queen's Birthday Ball
The front of the envelope has been nibbled by silverfish as can be seen in the photo but the back is untouched and so is the invitation. Justin Browne was chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, and held many directorships and board positions in major Hobart companies and organisations. He was Warden of the Marine Board, a member of the Museum Board, Consul for France, and Fellow of the Royal Tasmanian Society.
