This is one of Australia's rarest and most stunning kangaroo varieties. The stamps were overprinted NW Pacific Islands in blocks of 30 which was the maximum size that could be overprinted by the printer. The original Australian sheets were comprised of 120 stamps,, but were split into 4 and removed in order to be over printed. This pane of 30 is therefore a complete sheet of NWPI over prints, making it an even more spectacular item. Nearly all the stamps are mint unhinged including the error.
